What I Did Yesterday--Friday the 13th

My big plan for yesterday was to go to one of my favorite craft stores and not much else, but instead the husband only had to work for a short time in the morning, so we took off for a drive and this is where we went..............

This is the Snake River in Swan Valley, Idaho--about 4o miles up the road from where we live--and if you look real close you can see a couple of moose in the river having a drink. We love to go on drives and try to spot the moose and the elk. These were the only ones we saw yesterday as it's been so hot here they're probably all hiding in the shade of the woods....................

Here's another shot of the valley as we're heading up into the mountain area and not too far away the Targhee national forest. Then my camera died, because I forgot to charge it!
All in all it was a great Friday the 13th. We had a nice lunch at a small pizza place up the road from here and just enjoyed the drive down from the moutains and into the farming valleys. When we got back to town I dropped the husband at home and then went and hit 4 craft stores! Only ended up buying some supplies, but it was nice to get to shop for a bit. Then we ended the day with dinner at local restaurant that is a 50's theme diner--had an awesome tuna melt with a Heath Bar ice cream shake for dessert. A pretty good day I'd say!
