Show Me Wednesday--Your Americana Decor

Welcome to Show Me~Wednesday!

This week I thought it would be appropriate to share our Americana Decor. Do you have special decorations that you put up for the 4th of July or maybe you have your home decorated in Americana year round. We'd love to see! Show us inside or outside or both.

Here's how it works....Each week we have a theme of what we would like to see. Snap a photo for us and post it on your blog and then fill out the Mr. Linky near the bottom of the post with your blog name and blog addy and it'll automatically add you to the list so other bloggers can come and see what you are sharing.

Feel free to add the banner above to your post (right click and save it to your own computer please), so it makes it easier for guests arriving at your blog to find your Show Me~ Wednesday post.

Each week we'll also list the theme for the coming week--at the very bottom of the post, so you can prepare and be ready to share!

Don't forget and leave comments where you visit. We all love to hear from our visitors.

This Weeks Theme--Show Me Your Americana Decor

This is my seasonal tree all decked out for the 4th of July. It'll wear these ornies clear through til it's time to change over for Autumn.
What I love best about these ornies are that they are made by my many primitive friends from all across the US and we have traded them through swaps for the past several years.

Here is a close-up of a few of them.............
I love Lady Libertys and this one is my Nicol Sayre inspired Lady Liberty that I made a few years ago.

This big paper ornie is so cool. I love how old timey it is.

Another favorite is Uncle Sam. This one is my all time favorite made by my friend Kathi Robinaugh of Out on a Whim Studios.

Another Lady Liberty I made using a pattern by Sonja Sandell of Hickety Pickety.

More Sams...........

And one of my favorites too is this cone made from an old greenwool army blanket.

Ok, your turn. Please show us your Americana Decor. Please make sure that you post photos on your blog and then add your name and copy/paste your blog URL into the Mr. Linky box below. Your name will appear on the list as a link, so others can click on your name and be whisked off to your blog and see what you have to share.

Next Week's Theme
Show Me Your-- Teapots!

If anyone has any suggestions of what you'd like to see in future Show Me Wednesdays, then please post it here and I'll add it to the list.

Thank you!
