Winter's Bliss

It's cold and frozy and beautiful here today in Southeast Idaho. Come along let's see.......

Everything is dressed in spectacular white..............

I've seen many a harvest and many a winter....

Shh...the farm fields are fast asleep under their cozy blankets of snow, dreaming of springtime and new seedlings to come......

Did the old wagon wheel help the pioneers across the plains or maybe it was part of the old farm wagon hauling in the harvest and the hay....

With this......

You get this......

What shall we do today....

Duck a La Snow.....

A frosted donkey's mane....

Hark! I hear something! Oh a beautiful winters day!

A Valentine Collage To Share With You

I keep meaning to post, but I just can't seem to quite make it in for some reason, so I thought I'd share a couple of Valentine pretties with you, that you can right click and save to your computer and then print out to use.

I'm still working on my OWOH giveaway AND I've just made it to 200 plus followers WHOOO HOOO! Thank you all my dear bloggy friends! I do appreciate you and I am also working on a special little giveaway coming soon that will be drawn just from the followers. More on that as it materializes. So for now.......

....I absolutely LOVE this collage sheet! I had it printed off onto white cardstock at my local Staples store today and it printed out beautifully! I have a little project to use it in that I'll be sharing with you all later and I hope you can use it too.

And what is Valentine's without a perfectly wonderful Victorian Cupid! He should print out nicely for you too. Enjoy!

PS--Watch for a little one on one swap with me too in the next couple of days. I'll give you a hint--it has to do with Valentines!

OWOH Giveaway and PIF

So what in the world is all this OWOH and PIF stuff, why it's the One World One Heart Giveaway and my Pay It Forward!

First is the One World One Heart Giveaway hosted by Lisa of A Whimsical Bohemian. If you're new to OWOH let me tell you it's one of the largest--maybe the largest--giveaways in Blogland. Last year there were well over 1000 participants! A great way to tour Blogland, find new blogs and hopefully make a new friend or two along the way not to mention participating in the giveaways as either a giver, a receiver or both!

If you would like to participate and enter your own giveaway hurry, because all the fun starts January 25th. I'm busily planning mine out.

Now for the PIF--Pay It Forward. When you do a PIF you have 365 days--which I had planned to do it in a much shorter time, but no the person with all good intentions, but that gets sidetracked too easily that I am has waited til near the final hour--but then again I do work best under pressure!, so I am also busily working on those too--but hey I need something to stitch on in the evening while I watch the husband watch tv. I'll keep you posted on my PIF progress too. And if you'd like to do a PIF, but haven't found one to participate in then why not start one of your own. It's a good thing!

Gotta run--I have a lot of stitching and creating waiting to be done........

January-New Beginnings

January, the month of new beginnings and cherished memories, beckons. Come, let winter weave her wondrous spell; cold, crisp, woolen-muffler days, long dark evenings of savory suppers, lively conversations, or solitary joys. Outside the temperature drops as the snow falls softly. All of nature is at peace. We should be, too. Draw hearthside. This is the month to dream, to look forward to the year ahead and the journey within.
--Sarah Ban Breathnach

Place your footprint for all to see. You may find it is filled with wondrous little treasures you hadn't realized were there. Go forth and seek the treasures of the bright new beginning this new year has to offer.
