Antique Thimbles Anyone

Aren't these beautiful! And they are for sale! Yup, I am selling off part of my antique thimble collection. Most of these--except one are all sterling silver and most of them are also all turn of the century or older. Two of them are very unique. The one in the front on the far left has a deeply carved floral design and it's stamped Merun or Merlin inside it. The one right next to it is a Simon Brothers scenic thimble. The 2 taller thimbles in the back are also Simon Brothers thimbles. The others I'm not sure about. Their prices range from 15.00 to 50.00 with 1.85 shipping. If you'd like to see more of them inidividually you can see them in my Picture Trail album HERE

Update--All Sold!

Those are LOVELY! I never realized one could fit some much "artwork" onto a tiny thimble! I've only ever seen plain ones. =)

I googled "antique thimbles images" and was amazed to see this picture, with my grandma's thimble on the far left. (Or perhaps her mom's!) I have the same one - the one with what looks like a poinsettia. Can you tell me anything about it? Is it silver? It seems to have markings inside, but I can't read them. It's top style and silver applique might make it a Mexican design. I know this was three years ago, but if you still remember, let me know! :) Thanks!
