Autumn Morning Rainbow

This is what was outside our backdoor this morning.....

.....the morning autumn sky was dark and getting ready to let forth its rain, but first it sprinkled on us and greeted us with a most fabulous full arch double rainbow!

The picture only partially captures how fabulous and how intense and close this rainbow was. I wonder if the pot of gold sat at the bottom of the rainbow on those homes.

The color was so vibrant and intense. I'm not sure if I've seen a rainbow quite like it before. The photos just don't capture that part of it.

All morning long the sky has been one big show of very dark, but beautiful then filled with gleaming light streaming from behind the clouds. It's been just beautiful!
