Toothache Remedy

I found a home remedy that really works, so I thought I'd pass it along. I had a toothache over the weekend and Ibuprofen just wasn't working fast enough, so I Googled and found out that if you cut a clove of garlic in half, then give it a little squish--not too much though--and place in on the tooth area that hurts it actually removes the pain and almost instantly! I was totally surprised! It can be a bit hot, especially if you smash it enough that the juices start flowing. You just want to release a little bit of the juices, but boy it sure works! Of course no one cares to be too near you, but then again that could have it's benefits too somedays. LOL!

Clove oil will also work, although I didn't have any of that and also a slice of fresh ginger will work, but I didn't care for the ginger. It was wet and cold! Seems garlic has lots of great uses and this is just one of them!

Last summer I developed a case of athelete's foot for the first time in my life - my wonderful new Keen sandals made my feet sweat too much. Well, after trying the cream the pharmacist recommended and not getting any relief from the itching and burning, I got out my home remedy book and it suggested I sprinkle garlic powder on the affected area. Worked like a charm!
Crazy, huh?

Thank you so much for this tip. My poor hubby has been suffering and no money for the dentist. I really like your blog. I had surgery on Monday and am a straggler from Cupid's Charm's Beautiful blogging party. I think it's so beautiful to see the "Pay It Forward" on your blog. When I feel better, I will be back to check everything out. My husband thanks you! Hope you're having a great day.

Ok, does hot and cold bother the tooth? How about pressure? Does cold make it feel better? Tell me the symptoms. Maybe I can give you some help.

You know after all 13 years, I might be able to come up with an answer or two for dental care.

And it was not like we did not have any medical talk going on this weekend!
